The Kids Abroad Foundation, Inc. is a
private, non-profit organization, dedicated to providing young students with opportunities to become
familiar with speaking and understanding foreign languages from an early age when language learning is easiest.
The Foundation currently offers free introductory and intermediate
foreign language classes to elementary and middle school students
in Loudoun County, Virginia. Classes are held at the facilities of
various Loudoun County schools; however, the Foundation is unaffiliated with
any school.
When additional class openings become
available to new students, they are publicly announced.
Preference is given to prior students and siblings of current
students, before openings become available to new students.
Beginning classes are normally oversubscribed.
The Foundation
began offering its programs in 2000. It is a tax exempt
organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. |
